Therme Vals creates a calm and meditative atmosphere where people connect deeply with the water and with their own bodies. Natural light is subtly introduced into the space, contrasting with the shadows of the stones, making every move a sensory experience.
Natural light creats a seamless journey of relaxation.
Natural light filters through the arches of the Grand Arcade at Piazza San Marco, guiding pedestrians and connecting the corridor to the square outside.

The Bruder Klaus Field Chapel expresses “architecture as a physical body” through a structure that is conceived as a living cavity, with the concrete shell as the “skin” and the interior space as the “inner body.” The raw materials and the light from the top give the building the feeling of a living body with depth.
Connecting people with space and making the building come alive and have depth.
Kolumba Museum demonstrates the concept of “material is endless” by using materials – particularly brick and concrete – as a continuum, connecting old ruins to new structures. Materials are not limited by time or form, but are exploited as a material with the ability to regenerate, transform and open up endless layers of spatial experience.
Light filters through layers of old and new materials to reveal depth, transform the surface and create the feeling that the material is always alive and always continuing.
Church of the Light creates a “sensory experience” through the strong contrast between darkness and the light of the cross that shines into the space. Light becomes an emotional element, helping users perceive the space through vision, body sensation and inner state.
Light activates emotions, creating a deep connection between people and architectural space.
